TEACHER CODE OF CONDUCT
1. Professionalism
• - Maintain a high standard of personal and professional conduct at all times.
• - Dress appropriately and maintain a neat and professional appearance. Indecent dressing is not allowed
• - Arrive punctually for school, lessons, meetings, and other duties.
• - Maintain an excellent command of English language
• - You are not permitted to speak in vernacular language within the school premises
2. Commitment to Students
• - Respect the dignity, rights, and individuality of every student.
• - Provide a safe, supportive, and inclusive learning environment.
• - Avoid favoritism, bias, or any form of discrimination.
• - Do not engage in any form of physical or verbal abuse or harassment.
3. Teaching and Learning
• - Prepare adequately for each lesson and maintain high standards of instruction.
• - Prepare your lesson notes weekly and submit daily report of class activities
• - Interact effectively with the school portal regarding your class
• - Use appropriate teaching methods and technology to enhance learning.
• - Provide regular feedback and fair assessment to students.
• - Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student progress and attendance.
4. Relationships and Communication
• - Foster positive relationships with students, parents, colleagues, and the community.
• - Communicate respectfully, honestly, and professionally at all times.
• - Avoid any inappropriate or overly personal relationships with students.
5. Confidentiality
• - Maintain confidentiality of student records and sensitive school information.
• - Do not disclose personal information about students, parents or staff without proper authorization.
6. Integrity and Ethics
• - Report any unethical behavior, conspiracy or suspected abuse to the appropriate authority.
• - Do not involve in gossips
• - Refrain from any actions that may bring disrepute to the school.
7. Use of School Property
• - Use school equipment, facilities, and resources responsibly and for their intended purposes.
• - Avoid waste, damage, or unauthorized personal use of school property.
8. Social Media and Public Image
• - Use social media responsibly and avoid posting any content that may damage the school’s image.
9. Compliance with Policies
• - Abide by all school rules, policies, and procedures.

10. Disciplinary Measures
